You will find we are an ordinary group of people called to do extraordinary things. It all starts by serving the people around us.
Over the past two Christmas seasons we have helped families celebrate through providing Christmas gifts to children who would otherwise go without.
We have partnered with the Bromley Community Center helping keep their food pantry full as well as providing complete Thanksgiving baskets with all the fixings.
In early September, working with United Way, 217church stuffed 450 backpacks with school supplies and gave them out to the Hamilton community.
Through community projects, festivals and providing for basic needs, we have given away over $75K to causes in the greater Hamilton community.
We are fully committed to sharing the love of Jesus by serving the needs of Hamilton and the surrounding area.
Serving the community is not just something we talk about, it is something we do!
You will find warmth and acceptance where everyone can belong, and you will find imperfect people figuring out life and how to love each other and love Jesus.

Fellowship together
Our 217groups meet to build relationships, restore hope and serve together in the neighborhoods we live in.
We have groups that meet on different nights and in different neighborhoods.
This is a movement where lives are being restored through Jesus one person at a time.

Baptisms
Baptism is the first step we take in following Christ. It communicates we have new life because Jesus is alive in us and we celebrate his forgiveness!

The couple began dating in high school and continued through college. Kevin proposed to Laura on a video shown during a 217church service. The church’s first marriage proposal! They have served with 217church since day one and are passionate about God and His people.

Tim was born in Philadelphia, but mainly grew up in New Jersey and currently resides in North Brunswick. He spent three years living in China, where his father was called to become a missionary. Though he was born in the US, he can read, write and speak Korean. While living in different countries and states, his parents instilled in him a love of music. He has been playing various instruments since the time he was young: he played violin for 6 years, guitar for 3, and lots and lots more. Whenever you run into him, he might have a different instrument in hand with a wacky idea.
